In 2008, thanks to a generous grant through the National Wildlife Federation, BLS Youth CAN was able to offer ten $1,000.00 youth climate action grants to youth groups in Massachusetts seeking to take action to address climate change.  The grants were aimed at inspiring teen-led climate action projects, and promoting participation in the Youth Climate Action Network (Youth CAN) in Massachusetts.  The grants gave rise to ten projects, including three new Youth CAN groups:  Milton Academy Youth CAN, Codman Academy Youth CAN, and Cambridge CAN.  The new Youth CAN groups joined with the existing Boston Latin Academy Youth CAN, and network founders, Boston Latin School Youth CAN. For more information about the network and how to become a Youth CAN group visit the networking page at (include a link to Youth CAN Network networking page.)
